Ms. Martha

Ms. Martha is the lead teacher in the Caterpillar room and holds an Associate Teacher Permit from the CA Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Before she came to Fun Ship in early 2016, she was at another preschool in Harbor City for 20 years where she was the head teacher for the entire school. When that school closed down, Fun Ship was lucky to get her! She is a wonderful teacher and has a kind, calming demeanor which children love. Ms. Martha was born in Cuba and immigrated with her family to the US in 1972. She has lived in Hawthorne with her husband since 1983 and they have three grown children and are legal guardians for two nieces. In her spare time she likes to go hiking with the family.

Ms. Anna

Ms. Anna started working for Fun Ship in February 2012 and is our amazing two year old teacher! Ms. Anna holds a Teacher permit from the CA Commission on Teacher Credentialing and has 30 units of Early Childhood Education as well as other general education credits. She has two children and is originally from Belize although she has been in the US since she was a baby. When she’s not at Fun Ship, she is driving her children to their various activities including her son’s marching band events.

When she isn’t in the office, helps in the classroom and makes sure teachers get their breaks.

She has an Associates of Arts degree from El Camino College in Early Childhood Education and an Associate Teacher Permit. She has 33 Early Childhood Education units and 62 overall. Ms. Stephanie

Ms. Stephanie has been teaching preschoolers for 8 years. This is her first year at Fun Ship and she is excited to make this her best year ever! “I am thankful for the opportunity to work in a nurturing, loving environment where children can learn and experience new challenges that will help build their confidence.

"I look forward to continued success and new discoveries with the amazing team of teachers at Fun Ship.”
